Full description & specs
The Main Hub is the brain of the system. It takes in every signal your vehicle produces, whether that is sending units wired straight to the hub or live data off the OBD-II port, and feeds up to seven displays over a single bus.
One hub runs the whole dash. Buy it once, and change what it reads whenever the build changes.
What's included
- RestoTach Main Hub.
- Your choice of harness at checkout: the direct sensor harness or the OBD-II harness.
- GPS antenna that plugs into the hub's GPS port.
- Mounting hardware.
Displays are sold separately. Choose the harness that matches how you want to read your engine.
Choose your harness
Direct sensor harness. Covers temperature, pressure, and fuel level sensor leads, turn signal inputs, and the RPM lead for coil-negative or ECU tach output. For carbureted builds, engine swaps, and anything without a usable diagnostic port.
OBD-II harness. Covers display communication and power and turn signal inputs, and pairs with an OBDLink MX+ adapter to pull live ECU data. For 1996-and-newer vehicles with a working OBD-II port.
Either way, the hub is identical. Add the other harness later and the same hub reads that source too, or runs both side by side.
What the hub does
- Every sensor input in one place. Direct sending units, OBD-II parameters, GPS position, and tach signal all land here, then get distributed to the displays.
- Up to seven displays. Any mix of 2 1/16", 2 5/8", and 3 3/8" pods on one bus.
- GPS speed. Vehicle speed derives from the included GPS antenna. No VSS, no speedometer cable, no drive gear to match. Nothing to calibrate.
- Tach from either source. Coil negative on a points or HEI setup, or your ECU's tach output. The hub takes both.
- Diagnostics with an OBD-II setup. Read stored and pending trouble codes, get notified when a code sets, check emissions readiness monitors, and clear codes when the repair is done.
- Wi-Fi to the app. Configure every display, switch themes, and manage parameters from your phone.
-
Updates over the air. New features and themes download through the companion app to the hub and every display connected to it.
Not intended for street use.
