Our Story

Built Because Nothing Else Fit

Every gauge on the market asked us to give something up. So we stopped compromising and built our own.

RestoTach gauges on the bench
Veteran Owned. Assembled in the USA.

RestoTach started with a dashboard that would not cooperate. Modern digital gauges have the data but look wrong in a classic dash. Period-correct gauges look right but can only tell you what the factory bothered to measure decades ago. Pick one and you give up the other.

We build the third option. Round gauges that drop into the holes your originals came out of, with a fully digital display behind the glass. The face is software, so it can look like it belongs in a 1969 dash or a modern one, and you can change your mind later.

Why choose one, when you can have it all in one.

Founder, RestoTach

The whole system is designed in-house in Arizona: the circuit boards, the firmware, the sensor hub, and every pixel of every gauge face. Nothing is a rebadged module with our name printed on it.

RestoTach is veteran-owned and run by a small team.

Milestones

How We Got Here

  1. 2025

    The Problem

A restoration project needed gauges that did not exist. Everything on the shelf was either the wrong look or you had to cut your dash.

  2. 2026

    First Prototype

A single round display driven by a development board. Ugly, tethered to a bench supply, and proof the idea worked.

  3. 2026

    A Real System

The design became a hub plus networked displays in three sizes, sharing sensor data over CAN instead of running separate wiring to each gauge.

  4. 2026

    Gauge Faces

With the hardware running, the work moved to the part customers actually see: a set of themes drawn from scratch, each one a complete instrument design.

    Launch

Pre-orders open and the first units ship.
